Shicheng Zhou, confirmed that what lies behind eve isk is way more than just another portable tie in with a new skin. „We heard a lot from CCP games. The staff at CCP shared a great deal of advice, even sharing information on the host side of EVE Online. This enabled us to take ideas and optimize the design of EVE Echoes for the mobile platform. There are similarities in the manner that the 2 games support players outside in distance but mobile also comes with its challenges.“
Zhou possibly even underplays the challenge which NetEase and CCP continue with this mobile interface. Until today, getting games such as Old School Runescape on a mobile platform has been considered something of a technical marvel. The cellular space comes with a huge assortment of hardware, users that are on the move, connections that might only drop off without warning, along with a myriad of additional constraints that CCP has not had to overcome in their period. Yet, the team think they’ve got this covered.

„The Yang Jung is one of the ancient factions of this forgotten era of New Eden. The facts in EVE Online don’t actually tell us a lot about the Yan Jung but it is a chance to ring something new and add even more diversity into the EVE experience. A number of our team are Asian and they love the idea of incorporating oriental culture to the match.
