You can play against people on the stage or go in the City and cross-play. It would place PC/Switch/Stadia in a big disadvantage for any competitions, so maybe group these three to one Neighborhood?
I trust we do not need to purchase NBA 2K21 twice. We should have the ability to carry over everything in the current gen version to the next. I keep repeating myself in the hopes making it true, but other significant publishers do it so 2K almost needs to, they will look greedy and bad if they do not.
I think one year is fair and 2K kinda must follow suit because they will be given a backlash should they move egotistical path. I also find a whole lot of people on Twitter believing that Smart shipping (you buy game once and it works on both last and new gen) works for every match. Smart delivery is only guaranteed for 1st party Microsoft titles, others will need to provide MS consent to empower it (AC Valhalla and Cyberpunk consented to become a part of Smart delivery for example).
What they can do otherwise today is allow people to only carry over NBA 2K21 free of cost, so if you’ve bought it for PS4 in September you’ll be allowed to get another gen variation on PS5 completely free of buy nba 2k21 mt coins charge, EA already said during their earnings call that they will have that choice for first calendar year.
