Fair it’s kind of astonishing to Madden 20 coins me how wicked and/or greedy a good deal of higher level executives are. 2K just do so as a stunt to violate Madden’s stranglehold. They put a ton of work into the product, but you got to get it in people’s hands, get out the word. They did everything by the book and did everything you are supposed to do in a market that is free. I think it says a great deal that EA actively pushed for this for years. It is troubling to me which passings yards/touchdowns are the criteria that determine a QB’s dev attribute. I had suspected this was the case throughout my franchises but I guess this confirms it.I’ll utilize Derek Carr as an example of why this method will not make sense. Derek Carr is currently playing football. High completion percentage (3rd in the league) great passer rating (7th), solid Y/A (12th), great DVOA (3rd).Of course, none of this matters to the Madden formula, since he is 16th and 15th in the league in yards and touchdowns respectively due to the way the Raiders‘ offense works (utilizing a lot of shorter throws to acquire first-down yardage and running the ball a bit).
Philip Rivers leads the league in passing yards–I believe most would agree he has had a pretty poor year all things considered, but he would likely receive a dev trait growth. I don’t buy it may be that hard to implement improved ways to assess / progress Madden players. In the NFL there are many Madden players that could be tough to trade for and have value to their system and team, yet this might not be represented in their stats. I get that it’s a little more challenging but I think in a video game placing it should be possible for a system to be executed.
I truly don’t get the hatred for Madden 20. So many little crybabies within this community. First, let me explain by saying I’m one of the greatest critics of EA. From franchise never getting big updates or features added, to the servers being down every day, it is not difficult to see why madden will get crap from the community. But the reality is, Madden 20 isn’t bad.AT ALL. Franchise is AMAZING, although online can be unplayable at times. Do not make me remind everyone of the maddens, where it had been impossible to run OR way too easy to produce catches that are competitive.
If you’re having difficulties with Madden gameplay, then USE SLIDERS. It makes Madden game feel far better. It’s nevertheless a DAMN GOOD game, although it may not be what we deserve as a community. I felt really dumb but earlier this year I tweaked the sliders, it shifted the experience radically. I used to play MUT but today I play franchise. On my days off I get dropped into my franchise for hours.I understand! I never used sliders till Madden 19 and it makes Madden game only so much better. I still don’t like some facets of franchise such as contracts and a few other minor matters, but other than cheap Mut 20 coins that, this really is my favorite Madden ever. I hope that they bring back produce a drama too.
