Yeah I felt the same especially the equilibrium in combat. I am playing OSRS right now completing my pure (lol) however OSRS gold just seems a whole lot more enjoyable for me personally. The MTX that folks like to whine about doesn’t actually bother me that much. I just enjoy my free keys out of questing and skilling in addition to the everyday keys but that is about it. I can still play the game the way I want to. People call it ezscape but not everyone has the patience and the opportunity to grind like the good ol‘ days.Osrs just feels right. It feels just like true Runescape. I am not gont review bomb the game certainly but with this said the mining/smithing rework did make playing iron man a lot funner for me, which makes my own lvl 90 armor was fairly cool, Heck I would play as one player match even. Having said that osrs will always be my property.
Analytics should have figured the additional players and familiarity caused by going to Steam would more than offset the reduction from Valve’s cut, after a certain stage anyways.
I doubt it. Mtx sold through Steam is less cash for Jagex following Steams cut. Reading that RuneScape is going to Steam actually sounds just like a meme to me.
I can not whole heatedly agree with this. The Jagex back afterward killed that game using an obscene number of Buy Runescape gold microtransactions and just general bad choices. We were forced to quit, and later start over. If We Would like to voice our opinions on a shitty pay-to-win game, you can’t stop usand you’re going to need to be more convincing if You Would like to talk us out of it
In case you’ve got legitimate gripes about it and genuinely think it’s a poor game, go on and leave a negative review–but make certain to actually REVIEW it and at least explain WHY you think that way.
Steam could be the thing that keeps RS3 alive for those that like it, and there are a lot of people around who enjoy RS3. Review bombing it is just idiotic, with no RS3 we would not have OSRS now and without RS3 at the upcoming OSRS would call for improved revenue which would bring MTX into the fore.
RS3 still actually makes more cash than OSRS. With no RS3 Jagex loses a whole lot of revenue and has to make it up somewhere or else it simply collapses.
Then you’re like me, and we’ll ignore it like we’ve been dismissing RS3 for years. No need to flame the match if Jagex gave us exactly what we wanted, which was OSRS.
That’s the entire point of consumer reviews, to let potential players know that the second an alternative popped up, you jumped ship because the product is crap. Review bombing is awful, but so is avoiding any negative reviews.
