I don’t believe PSO2 deserves to fail but I think PSO2 Meseta might if they do not get their shit together. The launch was an absolute tragedy. Also the shop thing is dreadful. I hate waiting bi-weekly for new clothing which are perm but in this rotation. I mean I never seen this before. Is it like this in Japan? They managed to nurture a market where people are happy about lootboxes and FOMO crap in japan f2p are all like this and much worse. They even had to place some limitation with federal laws because the shit was bonker, such as selling pieces if you get them all.
I mean whether the clothing items never went individuals will attempt to sell really high to create their cash or off the prices will drop to the floor. People today want to be different usually in an MMO, therefore making things not perm and at a loony rotation helps feed that self, mindset, lifestyle etc. If the prices dropped to the floor, people wont spend real money since the demand is so low because its not edition and PSO2 wont earn money. They keep you coming back to find every couple weeks on the stuff to make you different in a PVE game where you just go back to reception and flex your style.
In PSO2 where everyone finally can find the exact same gear, fashion is the only defining thing thats restricted and distinctive (look at this overpriced watch the business intentionally created, only 1000 pieces so I can flex you and stand out).dont just blame the company, blame individuals who fueling this type of behaviour with lack of subject and validation issues.or just let people decide how they spend their cash, you have a choice.
Unfortunately, like the rationale most outer area publishing fails, so long as SEGA does invest in NA it’s going to feel like a hand me down attempt. A group half way across the world with language barriers and a focus within an already distinct community can not possibly be relied on to also meet same level of focus on issues, wants, and only positive connections and community involvement that any game hoping for success needs to truly flourish.I love PSO2.
The classes all have a market, and you are going to gravitate to some more than others. Gearing is easy when you figure out it, and levelling the time is a grand adventure in case you have not played PSO at all. It’s quite a social sport depending on which block you are in. 001, and blocks 069, 002 generally house all the lobby rats that hang out and suck. Grouping up is a little convoluted but cheap Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta with external tools such as Discord finding a set is a little easier.
