Again, OSRS gamers would like their cake and eat it as well. It is the exact same problem they have with boss layout being stuck because combat is stuck onto a tick system. Mechanically, down at its roots, Runescape is more prone to botting.
Beyond that, when Jagex did fix the bot problem, people lost their fucking minds and stop Runescape in droves. It’s a problem lots of individuals claim they want fixed, but there is a substantial proportion of gamers who bot themselves or purchase money from gold farmers. I really don’t think the players really care very much about the issue.
Is Jagex waiting for Runescape to die before getting at the top of this shit? I really don’t know how it’s possible these bots can totally randomly generate names and execute the very same actions for hours upon hours straight and not get instantly prohibited. Banning them is obviously insufficient, I don’t want them banned, they’ll be back in one hour. I want it to be much harder to make accounts in rapid succession – arbitrary captchas, username flagging, chat monitoring.
There are dice robots in the GE in each and every world spamming the same message format each and every day for hours. The playercount is being inflated and the marketplace is being pumped with botted stuff.Obviously botting can’t be stopped, but there should be no situation where spiders can collect 20-50m exp in a skill without getting captured.
You obviously don’t have any ability to use that mind of yours. Only because a bot didn’t get in the way of me making 40 mill off the lucky bandos excursion I had a couple of days past, it still impacts me knowing that theres thousands of bot farmers making over that from the week with 0 effort. Not to mention theyre selling it for genuine money. Thats demoralizing. I know that a few players that are maxed and close maxed that are staking away billions and their banks because theyre tired of the moot soulless game thats 50% programs. Jagex will see their match dead in 5+ years guaranteed because the human players will be gone. Bear in mind this remark when it starts occurring.
I really enjoy these vids a great deal and you should keep doing them honestly for example that first bot farm with the“high level balances“ those balances could find those botted stats in a few times easy, so we can’t presume they’ve been there for weeks. If they were there for months they would all be 99 magic easy with 10s of mills xp over 99 if they’re botting for months at a time say 8-12 hours a day.thats kinda much good Cash if you code them great just Sayin and rwting is rather easy so lets say you get 500m in 3months of botting or 1day w.e what bot farming you gonna do and if you dont get keylogged etc whilst rwting you dont want to work anymore.
I wonder whether the bot outbreak have such a powerful hold on the RS market that Jagex are nervous about crashing it entirely. Imagine hundreds of items all going into lack of supply forcing the general prizes around for everything essentially causing hyperinflation and devaluating RS Gold.Reporting them once you see them remains the best way to get them banned. There’s nothing Jagex can do with Runescape being as it is. Bots will be there as long as RWT is a big thing.Even if they rework the motor, it is going to be a matter of time. Ensure it is not worth their time and they are gone.
Jagex needs to invest into changing the engine and actually making Runescape better than simply a click based game, make it an actually skillfull game. The only reason bots exist is the simple actuality that Runescape is way to easy to control,it was created back ages past, osrs being a port from 007 being the click based sport it is has to be transformed, they could change the conclusion of Runescape itself but still keep the grind, selling, quests everything exactly the same Hell they can use unreal engine and there wouldn’t be a way possible for scripts to be made. For case you can not not a game which is not click based and requires the player to actually play.Ah, Runescape.
